This booklet is a study of the two designers at Emigre, Zuzana Licko, Rudy VanderLans, and Chinese writer and designer Lu Xun. Although they differed significantly in their active periods, their interpretations of type designs still show interesting similarities. This booklet was originally to be made with gold and burgundy Riso and accordian-bound.
This booklet appears in AIGA Eye on Design’s interview with my professor, Designer + Educator J. Dakota Brown Is Untangling the Relationship Between Design and Labor.
